What a cookie actually is.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on your next page or visit. Local storage and session storage do the same job without a file being sent to the server. We use all three, and this page treats them the same way.
We set them for three reasons: to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to run the support chat. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell the data any of them collect.
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work. They remember choices you make on the site itself and are never used to track you across other sites.

Your choices.
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, for all sites or for usedivest.com alone. Blocking them does not stop the site working; it only means it will not remember your choices between visits.
Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site. Blocking third-party cookies for this site has the same effect here.
Intercom cookies are only set once the chat loads. If you never open it, they are never written.
